When our community gives, our students shine! ✨ Thank you, Connections Activity Center!

Putnam County R-I Schools would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Connections Activity Center and its leader, Jeff Harlan, for their generous donation of suit jackets, slacks, and dress shirts to the CTE Competition Closet.
These donations will make a lasting impact on our students, helping them “dress to impress” as they represent Putnam County at regional, state, and national competitions through organizations such as FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America), FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America), and FFA (Future Farmers of America).
Professional attire can boost students’ confidence and help them make a strong first impression as they present their projects, compete in leadership events, and network with industry professionals. Thanks to the generosity of Connections Activity Center, more students will now have access to quality clothing that allows them to focus on showcasing their skills, leadership, and professionalism.
The CTE Competition Closet is an ongoing initiative to support students in Putnam County’s Career and Technical Education programs, ensuring that all students have the resources they need to succeed—both in and out of the classroom.
Once again, thank you to Jeff Harlan and Connections Activity Center for your continued support of our students and your commitment to helping them shine in their future careers. Your kindness and community spirit make a real difference!
