Get Ready for a Fun-Filled Week at PCR-I: It's Red Ribbon Week!
At Putnam County R-I, we’re gearing up for an exciting week packed with activities for our students, families, and community. From promoting healthy, drug-free living to celebrating Halloween in style, there’s something for everyone! Here’s a look at what’s happening:
Red Ribbon Week: October 23-31, 2024
Red Ribbon Week is an annual campaign that helps inspire kids to live a drug-free lifestyle. This year, our PCR-I students will be participating in fun dress-up days to reinforce positive choices. We encourage everyone to take part and show their commitment to staying healthy and drug-free! Here’s the schedule for next week’s dress-up days:
- Monday, October 28 – Dreaming of a drug-free school and community!* Wear your PJs!
- Tuesday, October 29 – PC is saying "Peace Out" to drugs! Wear tie-dye, bell bottoms, and peace signs!
- Wednesday, October 30 – Keeping our game drug-free! Wear your favorite sports team gear or jersey.
- Thursday, October 31 – We’re too bright to use drugs! Glow/Neon Day!
- Friday, November 1 – Here at PC, we will grow up to be drug-free!Dress like a teacher or coach!

This is a week you won’t want to miss! From spreading awareness about living drug-free to dancing and parading in your best Halloween costumes, there’s something for everyone.
