At Putnam County Middle School, we believe that character matters—and we’re proud to recognize students who live out the values we celebrate each month. For April and May, we honored students who exemplified Perseverance and Forgiveness, rounding out another incredible year of character education at PCMS.

April 2025 – Character Trait: Perseverance

“Steadfastness despite difficulty, investing all of my energy to complete the tasks assigned to me.”
Our students demonstrated the grit and determination that perseverance requires, working hard to overcome challenges and finish strong.

🏅 Good Attitude Award Winners

Recognized for their consistently positive attitudes in class and among peers. Each received two 10-point bonus coupons and a certificate.

🏅 Character Education Award – Perseverance

These students pushed through challenges and inspired others by their example. They received a t-shirt and a certificate.

Awarded for outstanding behavior, a positive attitude, and leadership among peers. Each received a certificate and a pop.

May 2025 – Character Trait: Forgiveness

“Clearing the record of those who have wronged me and not holding a grudge.”
As the school year wrapped up, our students showed us what it means to let go of resentment and move forward with grace.
