💖 Valentine’s Day Plans & Procedures | Friday, February 13, 2026 💖
Although Valentine’s Day falls on Saturday, February 14, we know some families and businesses may plan to send deliveries to school on Friday, February 13. To help the day run smoothly and keep disruptions to a minimum, please review the guidelines below.
🗓️ Delivery Window
- All deliveries must arrive at the High School Office between 8:30–10:00 AM
- Items will be stored in the High School Library and distributed later in the day
🏷️ Labeling Requirements
- Elementary: Student’s first & last name, grade level, and classroom teacher
- Middle/High School: Student’s first & last name, grade level, and 8th-hour class period
đźšš Delivery Times
- Elementary: Beginning at 2:00 PM during classroom celebrations
- Middle & High School: Beginning at 2:45 PM (8th hour)
🏪 Business Deliveries
Businesses planning to make Valentine’s Day deliveries must contact the school in advance at 660-947-3361 to make arrangements.🍬 FCCLA Fundraiser Option
Putnam County FCCLA is offering a Candy & Crush fundraiser as a fun, affordable option.- Available February 3–11

While Valentine’s Day is exciting, not every student may receive a delivery, especially when it's not Valentine's Day until Saturday. Sending items to school is optional, and families are always welcome to save special surprises for home celebrations. Our goal is to keep the day inclusive, kind, and positive for all students.Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us keep Valentine’s Day organized and stress-free at Putnam County R-I. 💙
