At Putnam County High School, we believe students can make a difference for one another and for our community.
Our SADD chapter, Students Against Destructive Decisions, empowers students to make healthy choices, look out for their peers, and lead by example. Through student leadership, awareness activities, and community events, we help create a school where students feel connected, supported, and ready to make decisions that protect their futures.

PCHS SADD is part of a nationwide organization dedicated to student health, safety, and wellness. Our chapter brings that mission home through opportunities for students to learn, lead, serve, and have fun together.
Our work focuses on:

Whether you enjoy planning events, sharing ideas, organizing details, or helping behind the scenes, there’s a place for you in PCHS SADD.
Members can help plan activities, support awareness campaigns, participate in service projects, and bring fresh ideas to our chapter. It’s an opportunity to build friendships and leadership skills while doing something meaningful.

A little of your time can make a big difference.
We welcome parents, guardians, and community members who want to help our students enjoy safe, positive experiences.
Volunteer opportunities may include event planning, decorating, preparing refreshments, gathering supplies, supervising activities, and helping with setup or cleanup.
Let us know what interests you and when you’re available. We’ll share upcoming needs and help you find a way to contribute.

Financial contributions, donated supplies, and business sponsorships help support PCHS SADD activities and our Junior-Senior After-Prom celebration.

Supporting Junior-Senior After-Prom
A memorable night. A safe place to celebrate.
PCHS SADD helps raise funds for our Junior-Senior After-Prom celebration, working alongside parents and community supporters to provide students with a fun, safe way to continue celebrating together after prom.
Fundraisers such as movie nights, our Egg My Yard Easter egg event, and other community activities help make that celebration possible.
Every ticket purchased, volunteer hour given, and contribution made helps support an enjoyable night for our students. Watch this page for After-Prom plans, fundraiser details, and ways to help.
